Soda PDF 8 allows you to set a password to protect your PDF document from being opened. It means that anyone who tries to open your document must type in the password you set.

Click the Password Security button on the Secure group to prompt the Change Password dialog box to appear:

Use the Encryption Level drop-down combo box to set the encrypted system:
•40-bit RC4;
•128-bit RC4;
•128-bit AES;
•256-bit AES.

Select the Require a Password to Open the Document check box to create a password. Please note that if the check box is not selected, the other fields of the Change Password dialog box are disabled.

Enter your password in the Password text box and confirm it in the Confirm Password text box.

Click the Apply button to create or change the password to open your PDF document
